We want to be upfront and honest with you when comparing our price and "free shipping" offers.   We do not do Free Shipping, and we deliberately show you on every order, the cost to ship to you, and tell you upfront that cost is not refunded on returns.

The First Truth:  Nothing in business is Free.  Free Shipping is  an Advertising Strategy  Explained Below.  Even when "Free" there is a benefit to the business that offers it, and still  a cost to you in some way. In 2007 and again in 2008 UPS significantly raised its shipping rates; in 2007 so did the US Postal Service. These raises have made it very difficult on those who advertise free shipping to maintain their fiction.  At least when you see our price, you know it is fair and realistic. 

Most Free Shipping websites simply include "an average shipping cost" in the price of the product they list on their site.  Period. You still pay the shipping, you just don't know what the shipping is. Further, you will discover that for dog bed products their free shipping price is pretty close to our total price, after we add the shipping. And more: if you return the product, 99.9% of those "free shipping" websites --  Lord save a duck -- subtract from your credit, what it costs them to ship you that item.  Is that "free shipping?"  No. But they do it and really don't warn you in advance they will do that.

MORE: on many of those websites they also charge an additional restocking fee on returns, but don't point that out clearly in advance either. We don't charge restocking fees, except for some minor exceptions, and we tell you that in advance, clearly, before you ever get to click "add to cart."  

Our policy on price and returns is simple and fair to you and to us 

The price you see includes shipping costs which are outlined for you.  If the product you get is flawed or not what you ordered, 100% refund of the total price, including the shipping --  or we replace the product, free of charge to you, and no quibbling, no hassle, no long arguments, no questions:  you get your money back or you get what you ordered at no expense for the replacement.   If you get what you ordered but find you chose the wrong size, do not really like the color, or your pet just will not use it, or you just changed your mind about wanting it, or your pet died and you don't need it, you can return it if in like new condition -- again no quibbling from us, and no questions and no argument,  and the product price is refunded.  But not the cost of shipping it to you.  

You should carefully examine websites that offer "free shipping" on Lookouts and Snoozer products that are all over the internet, because you will discover that it is simply not really free, and on many of them, with a restocking fee to boot, it is more expensive if you return, than buying from those like us who do not charge such a fee. Look for their "policies" link, "satisfaction," "returns," "shipping" link to discover the surprise in the fine print.
