Airline Contact Information

Call the Airline you intend to fly on to see if they accept pets and what their requirements are.  The Wheel Away meets or exceeds the FAA's requirements for carry on bags. But not all airlines accept pets.  And some airlines may have stricter carryon limitations than those allowed by the FAA.  Our Small and Medium roll around will fit under the front seat of most airlines with the pet inside, exceptions being smaller airline commuter-type carriers, and those airlines that are retrofitting their seats to accommodate wireless laptops.

What are Airline Regulations Regarding the Wheel Away and Pets on Board?

Call the Airline you intend to fly on to see if they accept pets.  The Wheel Away meets or exceeds the FAA's requirements for carry on bags. But not all airlines accept pets.

The airlines are governed by The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) which sets measurement requirements for bags & other carry-ons brought on board an airplane and stored there.  However, some airlines may have stricter carryon limitations than those allowed by the FAA.

The Wheel Away meets, & indeed, exceeds the FAA measurement requirements. It can be stored -- with the pet inside it -- under the seat in front of you on most planes. Exceptions are some commuter-type smaller passenger aircraft where that may not be possible.  And on those planes being retrofitted to accommodate wireless laptops.

The next problem you encounter is whether the particular airline you wish to fly on allows pets to be brought on board.  And what its requirements are for carryons with pets.  Most allow pets, and our roll around. But not all. You should call and ask.

In general, you will not have a problem bringing your pet on-board an airline with this product. It was designed to be used for that purpose.
