---- Help us give you the quality product you deserve by
meeting our photo requirements to produce a terrific representation of your pet. These are minimal
requirements.:
* For customers who wish to mail their
photos in via USPS, UPS or FED-EX - Choose a photo that is
at least a 4" x 6" and not larger than 8 " x 10" in size.
All submissions, actual hard photos or digital follow these
instructions:
First: as a general rule
for all photos, actual or digital - Please make sure that the main
focus of your photo is not close to the edges of the photo. In our process
we do have to allow for bleed off which will cause some of the photo's
edges to be cut off. Our designers have the right to creatively digitally
crop and/or place borders around the pictures if they deem that someone or
something will be cut off of your Photo Product.
Actual "Hard" Photos
* For a 4"x6" photo please make
sure that the subject of the photo is more than 1/4 inch from the edge of
the photo.
* For a 5"x7" photo please make sure that the main subject is more than
1/4" from the edge of the photo,
* For
an 8"x10" photo please make sure that the main subject is more than 7/8"
inch from the edge of the photo.
* If the photo that you wish to use does not meet these guidelines, you can
still used the photo, the tapestry will
have a border added around the photo to make sure that we get all of the
photo on the tapestry.
Digital Images
* Digital Images - please make sure that scanned images direct from cameras are from a 5 megapixel or larger
camera.
* Images can be saved in a tiff, gif, png or jpeg file format.
* Please make
sure that the file size is at least 1 MB in size.

If you scan your image please follow the following guidelines

photo smaller than a 4"x6" - scan at 1200 dpi
-- photo is a 4"x6" - scan the image at 600 dpi
--
photo is 8"x10" - scan the image at 300 dpi.
