Look at the first picture of the
Console Lookout below. It is turned upside down showing how to
unzip the cover. But you can see the main straps there.
The
front at left has one strap threaded through the front end That strap goes
under the lid of the Console. The rear of the Lookout has a central
safety strap threaded through it. On each side of the rear strap
hangs a containment strap. In the middle of that safety strap
(not visible here) there is a also loop and it will have what we
call a "safety leash strap" with a hook at one end, much like the hook on
a leash. Remember these labels for the straps, repeated again below.
So we have
five straps: The safety strap at the rear; the "safety leash
strap" in the middle of it; two containment straps that hang
from the safety strap on each side, and one front strap.
