How to Pick the Right Size for
Your Pet?
Both Sizes will fit a typical bucket
seat or go in the backseat and take the space of one passenger.
Small size will hold a pet up to 18 lbs sitting up; 6 lbs
lying down. Medium size
will hold pet to 25 lbs sitting up; 10 lbs lying down. If
Lying down is an issue, be sure you pick the right size for that.
ALSO: You should use weight only as a starting point in
determining your needs, and always measure to get the right size for
your pet.
Our advice to determine if your pet will fit: make
2 pieces
of paper, or glue several pieces together, to make 2 separate pieces of
paper equal to INTERIOR DIMENSIONS OF EACH SIZE LOOKOUT.
Then: place pet on each piece. THIS Gives you a visual
of the way your pet will fit on the
inside of the Lookouts. Everyone measures differently so allow for that fact when doing
this exercise. (That is, don't worry if the paper needs to be about an
inch or two inches larger on each side to fit your pet)  Add
