Before you call to ask for descriptions of the micro-fiber colors please read below.
We advertise our company (Quality Pet Supplies) at www.snoozer-dog-beds.com as one that offers expert advice and personal service for the products we sell. And we believe that is true. But we do fail when it comes to trying to describe the subtleties of these micro fiber fabric colors to you over the phone.
By now (early 2008) We have had several years experience at this and realize there is just no way to do the job adequately. If we tell a customer that a color is red, blue, green, black, grey, yellow, brown, we are fairly confident we both are on the same sheet of music with a fairly common understanding and expectation of what that means. If I say the color is red, we both are probably understanding what that means, even if each of us understands that "red" might be light red, bright red, dark red, etc. Red is red, and blue is blue, etc.
But these micro fiber fabrics are not the same. What is peat? What is parchment? Granite? How different from peat is parchment? How do you understand the colors cafe, coffee or cappuccino -- all relate to coffee, but each is just so slightly different from the other or maybe even very different from one of the others.
And so it goes.... it is an impossible task, and we will not attempt it anymore for customers who call because with several years experience we find we fail as often as we succeed.
What is your recourse then?
Look over the color pages carefully, and consider our comments that go with them. Also: please look around our site at all ourluxury line micro fiber products, not just the product you are interested in. Why? Because there will surely be pictures on those other pages of the different colors and combinations that you might not get on the pages for the particular product you want. So, please look at the complete luxury line, start here, follow the links. You will see a variety of the colors on various beds which will help you make the best choice.
If that does not solve your problem: Get the Swatches. We do charge for them, but we don't make money on them. The nominal charge simply covers the cost to pay someone to compile them and mail them and the cost of the postage. The products that come in micro fiber are expensive. If you are unsure from the colors you see on the internet which color(s) to choose, it actually pays you to invest the extra time and $12 or so to get the fabric samples and then decide. Your wait, your time, trouble and expense will be rewarded when you are not disappointed in the color and do not have to pay a rather large amount in most cases, to return the product.
